The first of the two blogs is a Saint Louis news oriented blog. It discusses the St. Louis Rams recent release of their all-pro offensive lineman, Orlando Pace. This blog is set up like a news story by giving the readers the news of the release and then the readers commenting below it. The comments range from where they think he should play next to congratulating him on such a tremendous career. The second blog is a funny artsy blog. This blog is about women and how they rule the world. This blog has some funny related pictures and captions for the pictures. The responses to the blog are mainly women that are in support of the blog and women ruling the world. There are however a couple for brave men that stick up for their rights. The approaches of the blogs differ in that one focuses on humor to get a point across and one strictly focuses on the recent news update. They are similar in the fact that they both have sparked interest in their subjects and attracted many people to post on the blog. Blogs are different from most other types of writing in that they allow readers to respond to the piece and others are able to see and respond to those responses.
