This is a blog/message board from insidestl.com and it is not what we would call a professional blog website. It is more or less a bunch of random people in the st. louis area talking about pretty much anything and everything. Anybody and everybody can sign up to be able to post their own blogs and comment on other people's blogs as well. It is owned and operated by Tim McKernan who is on the 1380 am morning show which talks about sports and everything else they can come up with.

This is the blog portion of the ksdk website and it consists of the reporters blog posts as well as the viewers blog post. So their are professional posts by the reporters from the station and their are blogs from just ordinary people. The blogs that I read on this website are a lot more professional and seem more serious than the blogs from the insidestl blog/message board. Also, it seems that ksdk talks more about serious issues as well as sports, weather, etc...whereas the insidestl blog posts are more random and talk about just about everything.
The two blog websites are similar in the way that ordinary people can sign up to talk about their feelings and ideas on the subjects at hand. Yes, the ksdk is more professional and seems more serious but at the same time the insidestl blogs have just as much information on their blogs as the ksdk blogs. I think the advantage to the insidestl blog is that anybody can sign up and just talk about what is on their mind and other people comment on it and it can go on and on for days. Whereas the ksdk blog is more or less just talking about the topic at hand and you have to be more profeesional about what you say and how you say it. Both are very important and have similarities and differences in their style but I do not believe that one is more important or better than the other.
