The News Blog that I found is edited and written by two unprofessional journalists named Jen and Steve. Their blog contains a variety of media such as links to other news blogs, websites, YouTube videos, images and various resources. The blog contains posts about news today, but also contains celebrity and entertainment news. While some bloggers consider their news blogs to simply be journals, others feel that their unprofessional blogs are forms of journalism because the blogs are publically published. This issue has been a debate in the PR industry. Do the same guidelines that apply to bloggers, apply to journalists?
The news blog is informal like the art blog; both have some incorrect grammar and use controversial writing styles. The blogs are similar because almost all of the blog posts use media to correspond with the text entries. Each of the blogs allow comments by the public to be made and allow the public to see what time and day the posts were created. In addition, both blogs voice personal opinion. The blogs are different because the news blog generates more discussion; this is because the topics are more controversial. The art blog is informational and inspiring because of the diverse art and culture used.
